Providing Your Employees with Unlimited Access to (Real, Live Human) Financial Coaches
Summit Group 401(k) Consulting (SG401k) recently launched, what we believe to be, the most effective, standalone Financial Wellness program available. One that doesn’t simply leverage a fancy website, articles and calculators, but one that adds the most impactful element of all – the human element. This program provides employees and their families with unlimited financial coaching from a team of Certified Financial Planners®.
Think about it: every one of your employees will have the ability to speak and correspond with an independent CFP® to obtain guidance on any financial topic, as well as to obtain a full, financial action plan. No selling. No conflicts. Just personalized financial advice for many individuals that may never otherwise have access to this type of professional or service.
• Online Financial Wellness Assessment for each employee
• Online Financial Learning Center adapted to each employees’ needs
• Employer reporting of Assessment results which can be used to tailor your organization’s financial education initiatives
• CFP® Professional Financial Helpline providing unlimited financial coaching and personalized action plans
• Automated, ongoing marketing support to employees
• Annual usage reporting for employer
What is Financial Wellness?
According to Tom Rath and Jim Harter, leaders of workplace well-being research for Gallup, Financial Wellness is defined as “effectively managing your economic life.” It is going beyond just retirement savings by expanding the focus to one’s full, holistic financial picture in order to become more “money-smart” and, ultimately, reduce stress and anxiety. In addition to the obvious benefits this can have for each employee, fostering a less-stressed (i.e. more healthy) workforce can also directly impact an organization’s productivity and bottom line.
Financial Wellness programs are like a box of chocolates
Available programs to provide Financial Wellness come in many different flavors. Some are purely focused on providing online articles/calculators or randomized group education sessions. Others may focus on providing worksheets and a video curriculum. While still others believe that giving employees access to short-term payroll loans can help. Although no solution will be right for everyone, we believe that having unlimited access to unbiased financial coaching, tailored to each individual’s financial situation, and accessible when their busy schedule allows, can have the most significant impact on their Financial Wellness.
That’s why we have partnered with one of the leading Financial Wellness companies in the industry, Financial Finesse, to offer employers a standalone benefit that can truly make a difference in the lives of their employees. Initially built to serve the mega-size employer, Financial Finesse has now created a solution for every-size employer, available exclusively through our independent advisor alliance, GRPAA.
